My wife works for an animal hospital and was given this with the statement from the owner "you want this, they suck?" she thought that was odd considering Wahl makes the best stuff. once home i opened it figuring "hey let's try it !" this thing is horrible.
reasons:
1. the blades flex and cause the nail to either shatter or crumble
2. the grinder is underpowered and doesn't file very well at all.
3. the batteries are not large enough to stand up to the actual intended usage
4. the back stop for the nail causes the nail to lodge between it and the blades
5. the blades are dull out of the box
6. ITS MADE IN CHINA !!! UGH KILL ME !!!
DO NOT waste your money, if you need one and must buy a less expensive model buy a BAMBOO cutter. these units are reliable, sharp and do not hurt the nail. (i am not talking about cutting too deep and hitting the quick, i am talking about crushing a nail.
