E-Z Nail Clipper / Filer



My wife works for an animal hospital and was given this with the statement from the owner "you want this, they suck?" she thought that was odd considering Wahl makes the best stuff. once home i opened it figuring "hey let's try it !" this thing is horrible.
reasons:
1. the blades flex and cause the nail to either shatter or crumble
2. the grinder is underpowered and doesn't file very well at all.
3. the batteries are not large enough to stand up to the actual intended usage
4. the back stop for the nail causes the nail to lodge between it and the blades
5. the blades are dull out of the box
6. ITS MADE IN CHINA !!! UGH KILL ME !!!

DO NOT waste your money, if you need one and must buy a less expensive model buy a BAMBOO cutter. these units are reliable, sharp and do not hurt the nail. (i am not talking about cutting too deep and hitting the quick, i am talking about crushing a nail.

WAHL SELLS OUTSOURCED ASIAN CRAP. PERIOD.

wahl hair clippers saleI was glad to find the Wahl shaver at such a good price ($30). I have owned two previous Wahl shavers and was disappointed when I could no longer find them locally. It shaves fast and close with no irritation. The trimmer is better than most I have tried - I used two Remingtons and a Braun before finding the replacement Wahl on Amazon. I disagree with another reviewer about noise. It's quiter than either the Remington or Braun that I still have; but they have been used for a while and most shavers get noisier from continued use. Since it comes with three heads - marked "close", "super close", and "sensitive", you can almost certainly find one that will work well with your face and beard. And if you're lucky, like me, all three will do a good job, so you're effectively getting two replacement heads for free. The "super close" is faster for me and not quite as comfortable as the "close" - my favorite. The "sensitive" is a little slower and doesn't shave quite as close unless you spend extra time going over areas with heavy beard. I get four to six shaves on one charge, depending on how much time I spend shaving each use. I do not think that the Wahl shaver is quite as durable as some others, but since it comes with a two-year warranty, you can count on two year's service. And hopefully when it finally wears out,you can find a new one at a good price. At the price of $30, which is about the price of two replacement heads for competing shavers, I've been considering buying another one for the futurewahl hair clippers sale

Wahl hair clippers saleI have tried at least ten different pairs of clippers over the years and the Wahl Peanut is without a doubt the best for short haircuts. It's very small and lightweight yet it has more power than most of the other full size clippers that I have used in the past. The shape and size of it makes it really easy and quick to use because it fits nicely in the palm of your hand and it's not awkward to hold. It cuts very well for short haircuts but I am not sure it would be the best for longer and thicker hair because it's so small. It comes included with clipper oil, blade guard, brush and 4 cutting guides. I do wish that it come included with a case of some sort but that's not a huge deal. Another very nice thing about these clippers is that the blades are removable and replaceable so if the blades get dull then you can just replace the blades.

Wahl hair clippers saleI have been shaving my head for over 10 years. I have used most every blade, cream, gel or electric razor on the market. The closest shave for me has been a Mach 3 with a shaving gel. However, shaving my head every day with a blade takes a lot of time and alot of Mach 3 razors---Additionally, I am prone to ingrown hairs on the back of my head. Because of these reasons, I thought I would try the peanut. WOW!!!!! What a great product. It does not shave as close as a blade but it is darn close and it shaves much closer than any other clipper out there. (now that I have lots of gray hair, the very close cut looks like a shave) Using the Peanut has solved my ingrown hair issue completely. This little bugger is very well made and has plenty of power. Also, I have NEVER cut myself with it. The best shave will always be a blade but the Peanut gets the job done in a third of the time, with no cuts or ingrown hairs. It's a winner. UPDATE Aug 2009......the Peanut continues to amaze. It cuts just as good as the day I bought it in 2007. No pulled hairs, the white blade guards still snap on firmly and I am still on the original blade! A drop of mineral oil every now and then is the only maintenance I've done. This trimmer is nice and gives a nice cut. I mostly use the pre-installed adjustable guard, so I cannot say how well the other attachments work. For the way I use this trimmer, it works great. The battery life is great also. I use the trimmer on my beard 1-2 times per week. I have had the unit for three months and have only recharged it once so far. My old Conair unit required a recharge every week or two. The safety button on the on/off switch is a nice feature if this ends up in the hands of a little one. The plastic stand is a little cheap. I keep my trimmer in the cabinet, but personally it is not something I would want to look at every day. This does not take away from the performance of the trimmer, so I cannot lower my rate because of this. Other units have a nicer base. My old unit required the base for recharging which was extra item to bring when traveling for long periods of time. With the undependable charge length, I did bring it with a few times. Wahl 79524 24-Piece Deluxe Hair Clipper Kit


I use this clipper set to trim my husband's very short hair. He used to go to a stylist who charged him $25 a cut. Because his ideal cut is very close all around, he needed to get a new cut every 4 weeks or so, and those fees really add up quickly. We finally cut the cord with the stylist and bought a home clipper set.
The clipper is powerful and does not get too warm. It is easy to use and the included video makes it easy to learn to cut hair. I haven't attempted any of the more complicated cuts, we just use a Number One comb all over my husband's head and clean up the edges without any comb at all. However, we do find all the accessories to be very useful; the brush for cleaning the clippers, the lubricating oil, and the brush for sweeping stray hairs off the neck. Occasionally I use the shears to trim the hair around his ears, too. The kit also has a mirror and a plastic apron, which are helpful to have.
You really could use this kit to get started with all kinds of cuts, and Wahl is a good brand for clippers. If you are looking to get started even just occasionally, this is a great kit to have. With w
hat we've saved in hair styling fees, this kit paid for itself a long time ago.

I am a lifetime beard grower, and have had many different trimmers, and I happen to by a Wahl one day, and its outlasted all my other big name trimmers, and i totally mistreated it and abused it, and it still trims like a dream. So I decided when i was looking to update my trimming kit to look at some Wahl Timmers, and i was not dissapointed, its plastic and feels lite but it does the job, and it does it the first time. It comes with everything i needed, and the cradle held everything pretty well. The instructions included are very useful as well. I would recommend this if your looking for a budget trimmer, I bought a wahl as a back up, cheap trimmer, and its become my primary trimmer. ++This is not a shaver, i think people are confusing this for a different job, This is made to trim, maintain, and sculpt a beard or mustache. If you try to shave it will pull your hair or not cut well++

whal clipper hair saleI purchased these clippers to use on my little boys. They are 3 and their hairstyle is a fade. I have never given a haircut before but was excited to try it. Other reviews say the clippers are extremely loud, what are they talking about?! My battery powered toothbrush is louder than these clippers! I watched the DVD that is included and read the instruction book. Then I started the haircuts. At the hair dresser they usually use a No2 on the sides and a No3 on top but being it was my first time I used the No5 on the sides and No6 on top then trimmed it up with the scissors and they look excellent, I was surprised I could do such a good job! The kit includes: the clippers with a guide on it to let you know the sizes of the attachments, attachments No1-No8 + No12, 3 ear attachments, eyebrow attachment trimmer, a cover, a cord wrap, a safety plug cover, cape, brush to brush off loose hair, oil, cleaner brush, 1 comb (not 3),scissors, 2 hair clips (not 3) DVD, booklet, and hard case to keep it all. I would definately recommend these clippers. It does say you may have to adjust the blade after a while but it shows you how on the DVD, and it's simple. Maybe now my husband will let me experiment on his head. :-)

Wahl Clip N Trim 2 Blade In 1 (21-Piece Kit)





I bought this for a bit more at Walmart becuase I needed it asap. My hair grows back at an

incredible rate and if I don't trim it within 2-3 weeks, it looks BAD. This model featured a Powerdrive system that's supposedly more powerful at cutting thick hair more smoothly.

It also sports this special detail trimmer that pops out and attaches to the trimmer blade like a silencer for a rifle. The only difference is that it makes 3 times more noise than the regular trimmer. It was so loud I couldn't stand it buzzing next to my ear. I tried oiling it to no avail, it's just very noisy and vibrates a lot. The regular trimmer is just like the old Wahl I had. In fact this trimmer looks and feels JUST like the old Wahl I had from the mid 90s. I didn't feel any difference in how smoothly it cut - it just got really hot really quickly. But it's new and it has a 5 year warranty. It would pay for itself in the 3rd or 4th haircut at home. UPDATE: After the 3rd cutting, the trimmer appears to be slightly quieter and doesn't get as hot. I oiled the blades and made sure it was clean. The small trimmer attachment got a bit quieter but I found that if I just wear earplugs I can handle the noise. No Big deal at all. The hair trimmer already paid for itself and I'm getting really nice and clean haircuts by myself. UPDATE: After about the 10th use, the longer trimmer guides vibrate and the smaller "fuzz hair" adapter vibrates right off of the main trimmer body. It still cuts great for such an inexpensive trimmer. It does the job of an industrial strength trimmer and after about 3 haircuts, it pays for itself. I can pretty much get a brand new trimmer set each year and still save over going to a hair salon/barber shop. My hairstyle isn't complicated: Guide #4 for the top, Guide #1 for the sides. High and tight. I see no reason to pay a barber ten dollars to do the same thing.

use this primarily to trim my goatee and it works fine as far as the end results go. However, it happens to be pretty painful because it seems to pull a hair out here and there instead of actually cutting it, so I usually dread using this thing. I am guessing it is because the blade is not sharp enough. The battery life and strength seem to be quite good though.

It finally started to show its age and I went looking for a new one. I tried Remington brand, and they just did not work for me. I have very thick, stubborn hair and the Remmington's blades did not get close enough to my skin to get the hairs I wanted. So I went back to what I knew worked, and re-ordered a new Wahl Beard Trimmer. This one is very similar to my old one, except a few new things. There are more blade guards than before, and the clipper setting now has 6 stages instead of 5. Otherwise, the trimmer is the same. And that is a good thing. Immediately, the new Wahl made a difference and I am very happy with the results. The reason why Wahl is so much better than anything else (including the Remington) is that the blades that move back and forth as so much closer the to the guard teeth that you can see the difference. Go to a store and look...you can see the difference between this trimmer and other brands. The Wahl will always cut closer and better. There is no other brand I would recommend - Wahl trimmers are simply the highest quality you can find in this price range that give the closest trim on your face.
